Once again, Gartenschau opens for business! On March 30th, the doors will open with the new motto, “Der Regenbogen- zwischen Sonne und Wolken“ *rainbow - between sun and clouds). The park will be open from 1000-1600 on Saturday and Sunday and from 1000 to 1800 Monday through Friday. www.gartenschau-kl.de

Roller Derby Season Opening: The Roller Girls of the Apolcalypse

Saturday, March 30th from 1530-1900. Tickets are 5 Euros if you purchase ahead of time at 7 Euros if you buy the day of. Kids up to 10 years of age are free! Check out their website www.rgaderby.org.

Ramstein Spring Fest!

Ramstein will hold it’s 4th Spring Fest on March 31st from 1300-1800. Free admission! There will be spring flowers and decorations, plants and great gift ideas on the Ramstein market square. A children’s program will be held and check out the chainsaw artist who will be making creations from logs. It’s also the time when the market fountain is decorated for Easter and makes a great backdrop for pictures.

Burn it down!

Head to Miesau this weekend for a traditional winter burning event. The Fire department will head this event where a huge snowman made of straw bales will be set of fire. Food and drinks will be offered! The event will start at 1730.
