Old Town Fest, Traditional Log Rolling, or Summer Fun for the Kiddos!

Kaiserslautern Altstadtfest!

When the old town becomes a huge open-air pub, celebrations are in vogue: in addition to culinary specialties, there are street theater, arts and crafts and lots of music on 9 live stages. More than 200,000 visitors regionally and nationally are looking forward to this highlight.  FRI 6th from 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM; SAT 7th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 AM; SUN 8th from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM.  More information at www.kaiserslautern.de


Wild und Wander Park

Come out for some kicking and crafting on July 8., 13 to 17.  The World Cup fever has now included the wild and hiking park: the next Sunday goal shoot, work shop "Fan Articles crafting" and dragon bouncy house.  Wild- und Wanderpark Südliche Weinstraße, 76857 Silz. Wildpark-silz.de  



The traditional Triftfest, or log drifting festival takes place July 8th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. At 1:30 p.m. and at 3:30 p.m. forestry workers will demonstrate how logs were moved from one place to another 160 years ago. Learn how people used to transport wood from areas which were difficult to access. The traditional bugle musicians will provide background music for the opening of the Triftfest. A number of fun activities are offered for the young and the old visitors, e.g. a bark boat race with attractive prizes to win. Gartenschau Summer Fun For Kids!

During all summer holidays, children from 4 years of age can play in our kinderzelt and crafting what this stuff holds. ✂🎲 the tent is open daily from 14-17 pm!
