St. Wendeler Ostermarkt

The St. Wendeler market is sure to please people from all over, of all ages.  There will be about 90 stalls with a wide selection of gifts and products from classic Easter decorations to sophisticated handicrafts. There will be a bunny village, a magnificent Easter crown, a giant Easter egg, special rabbit exhibit, cheerful hands-on program for the kids (crafts, painting, making music, face painting, crossbow shooting), a variety of delicious foods and beverages and more.  Don't miss this market!  Am Schloßplatz, 66606 Sankt Wendel.  The market is open daily from 1100-1900, Thursday March 15th through Sunday March 18th.  Business will be open also on Sunday from 1300-1800.

Easter Market in Ingelheim am Rhein 

Come and take a stroll into spring at this Easter market in the Alte Markthalle.  They will have it beautifully decorated in spring flowers and offering cakes, waffles, wines, liquors, fruits and more.  This Easter market will have a large number of exhibitors offering products such as handmade pottery, jewelry, paintings, Easter decorations, hand painted porcelain, leather and wool products and candles.  There is also an opportunity for adults and children to create a cuddly toy with a local toy expert (for a small fee).  Sunday there will be a singing group from 1430-1530 for everyone to enjoy.  The market is held at Binger Str. 9-11, 55218 Ingelheim am Rhein (about 1 hr 8 min from RAB).  March 16-18th, Friday 1400-1900, Saturday and Sunday 1100-1900

Easter Market in Oppenheim 

More than 25 artists and craftsmen will be offering goods for sale during this annual Osterkünstlermarkt in Oppenheim. In addition to typical Easter items and decoration, there will also be a variety of culinary delights, stone sculptures, knitwear, and much more.  There will be 30-minute tour of the Oppenheimer Kellerlabyrinth on both Saturday (1200-1700) and Sunday (1130-1700).  On Sunday, check out the vintage car exhibition which will take place on Mainzer Str. and Postplatz from 1000-1800.  The market in the exhibition hall and market square will run Saturday from 1300-1800 and Sunday 1100-1800.  Merianstraße 255276 Oppenheim

Kaiserslautern's Spring Festival

Come out for Kaiserslautern's annual spring festival, "Lautern blüht auf" or Lautern blooms. There will be thousands of flowers, music, and actions awaiting visitors and encouraging you to stroll the market and enjoy the much anticipated arrival of spring.  The program will also have a petting zoo, bouncy castle, and face painting for the smallest visitors.  A car show, artisan offers and an Italian market complete the offer on this spring weekend. On Sunday, the retailers will participate with open shopping during the event. The festival takes place in the market square on Saturday, March 17th from 1000-1900 and Sunday, March 18th from 1300-1800

Easter market in Cochem 

Stroll along the Ostermarkt with it's numerous stalls and offers of Easter presents and decoration ideas while enjoying the scent of pretzels, crepes and pastries.   There will be large car show with current models of leading car brands which you can see, feel and test.  The car show will be at the Bockbrunnenplatz, directly between the Ostermarkt and the Cochem pedestrian zone in the city center.  For the kids there will be a nostalgic carousel, puppet show, creative workshop, visit with the Easter Bunny, and lots of sweets and treats.  Come out an enjoy the beautiful winding medieval streets, half timbered houses, and the first rays of springtime.  The market takes place March 17th from 1100-1700 and March 18th from 1300-1700.  Sunday shopping will be open until 1800.  On Sunday there will be a puppet show for the kids at 1230.  On both Saturday and Sunday from 1300-1600, there will be a creative kids workshop and from 1400-1700, children can visit with the Easter Bunny. Osterglockenmarkt in Bad Dürkheim


The Osterglockenmarkt, or Daffodil market,  in Bad Dürkheim will take place again this year.  You can expect about 80 vendors offering a variety of goods.  Easter decorations and gift items are the focus of the market, and you will find stalls filled with ceramics, jewlery, wicker and sandstone work, culinary specialties and more.  There will also the best in local wines and sect, available take home also to sample.  Innenstadt, 67098 Bad Dürkheim Sunday, March 18th from 1100-1800.
